Recycling not only helps the world around us, it also helps the pets in the Currituck County Animal Shelter!
The Animal Assistance League accepts used cell phones, aluminum cans and inkjet cartridges for recycling!
When we turn in these items for recycling, we generate funds that we use for the prevention and treatment of heartworms for the animals in our care.
We appreciate your collecting and bringing these items to our shelter and they will help us protect the health of the animals in our care!
A used inkjet or laser printer cartridge is money in the bank for a homeless animal! Please don't throw them away, bring them to our shelter and help the homeless dogs and cats!
If you work in a large office or company, you can turn this into a fun event for everyone and save the life of an animal that is in need! Whatever brand of cartridge, please don't let them end up in a landfill, we can recycle them and turn that trash into cash!
